Bicycle Theft

I agree we need a better system of security, or an organization where we can register our bicycle serial number for future claims.  The police have a registration program but as it is bicycle theft is a major problem.  As cyclists we may need to form the organization ourselves.  As a go green community the city may be responsible for better security and lock ups.

Our bicycles have been stolen, even though they were tick-tock double locked.  There is nothing more frustrating than having to walk home sans bicycle.  You walk home to a double beat and all you want to do is throttle the culprit.  They, the culprits who stole your bike are nothing but sneaks, it is very easy to steal a parked bicycle; like taking candy from a baby.
