Nine o’clock in the morning, Saturday and Mondays during the summer, a troop of regulars gather together at the ‘old tennis court to play ‘Pickle Ball’.
All come with jovial smiles, ready for good hearted competition. Some days everyone has a hole in their bat, paddle, as all levels of skill
“I’ve got it.”
are displayed. To win is to be happy but mostly the inclusiveness of helping another player to improve is paramount. Each and every player leaves a game tipping their bat to all players in recognition and respect. They wander along at sessions end discussing their game, chores for the day and dreams for tomorrow.

John McDonald- Founding member of the 'Snap Cap Boys', I am also an adventerous bicycle tourist, I visit and review "Bed and Breakfasts".
