Rome, Rome beautiful Rome. If I had time I’d write a poem. A poem about the fascinating architecture and beautiful scenes, of fountains, trees and stairs. Their function and beauty in the human pulse is a marvelous ‘trompe l’oeil’, the scene that delights the eye.
An ode to the roads, the cobblestone streets, some laid centuries ago. I have travelled on Caesar’s Iter much to my delighter and marched the path with Julius around the seven hills of Rome.
Good food abounds and hospitality is astir, the Italian life style is good and fun, offered with a generous hand. Share in the lifestyle. Ciao to Rome.

John McDonald- Founding member of the 'Snap Cap Boys', I am also an adventerous bicycle tourist, I visit and review "Bed and Breakfasts". Accompanied by my wife we have toured and visited many locale and enjoyed the pleasant surroundings and hospitality of various "Bed and Breakfast" establishments.
