The recent relaxation of some of the restrictions brought on by the covid pandemic have allowed us to enjoy some very enjoyable social pleasures. The idea of dinning out, celebrating a special event with a catered meal was one of the things mentioned most missed. The pleasant attitude by a clerk or server was always appreciated, but if returned when we were both masked it was hard to recognize each others smile. A sign of appreciation and friendliness.
The masks are off in most establishments and just for ease of illustration we will leave it up to our waiters to carry the banner.
“Hi I’ll be your waiter, Smiles.”
